But, It’s HOT

Benjamin scowled from where he stood in the entryway in response to Vic’s request. He was already chafing from having to share a ride to school while his car was in the shop. It had begun to make a noise that didn’t sound at all like normal engine utterings and Vic insisted he leave it with the shop for a once over.

“Ben, I said get your coat,” Vic repeated.

Ben continued to remain unmoved and said, “But, it’s HOT. I’m only going from the car to the school. It’s like 20 yards! Plus, it’s going to be warmer later.”

“You’re hot because you’re inside and you’ve been running around getting ready. It’s 50 degrees out now, regardless of how warm it will be later. Now, get your coat.” Vic folded his arms, obviously not going anywhere until Ben got his coat.

“You’re going to make me late for school!” Ben complained.

“And, you’ll be even later if I have to take the time to spank you. Get your coat. NOW. I don’t intend to repeat myself again.”

“Good. Then I won’t have to hear it again,” Ben said stubbornly. Vic’s eyebrows raised in mild surprise and Ben instantly regretted the words that came tumbling from his lips unbidden. He started to move toward the closet only seconds too late as Vic’s arms unfolded and he walked toward Ben with a determined set to his jaw.

Ben tried for some sympathy before Vic closed in on him, unable to reach the closet in time. “Now, you’re mad at me. Don’t be mad. I was JOKING,” he tried. His defense didn’t faze Vic in the least, and he gripped Ben’s arm as he vigorously swatted him toward the hall closet. With Vic’s help, Ben found himself dancing closer to the closet while his unrestrained hand tried desperately to cover his bottom.

“I am NOT mad, but I said to get your coat. Not once, but several times,” Vic said as he parked his errant lover in front of the closet door. “And, I don’t appreciate your smart mouth. Move it.”

Benji rubbed at the sting in his butt and fixed a firm pout on his lips. “I’ll get it, but I’m not putting it on,” he said obstinately.

He felt Vic’s hand land on his shoulder, turning him so they faced each other. “Do you want more? I’ll be glad to pull your pants down and do it right. It’s up to you, young man.”

“But, it’s hoooottttt!”

“It’s about to get hotter. I’m not telling you again.”

Ben should have known to expect that response. He asked for it and left himself wide open to it with his own words. “Fine,” he grunted, yanking open the closet door. He quickly selected the lightest jacket ever made, then stomped his way through the front door wearing the damn jacket. Vic shook his head and followed his unhappy partner to the car, thankful things didn’t escalate any further.

Vic barely had the heat on in the car, knowing Ben was most likely still warm. After a mere ten minutes in the car, Ben hit the button that controlled the window and lowered it all the way, feeling like he would literally roast with the light jacket on. Vic shot him a look and said, “Roll up the window, Benjamin. You can leave it cracked, but it doesn’t need to be open all the way in 50-degree weather.”

Ben resisted the urge to literally crack the window with his elbow. “Fine,” he said and raised the window a mere fraction from where it rested fully open. Vic had pulled out onto the main road by that time and the air was whizzing in the window, chilling him to the bone. Ben noticed him shiver and felt bad for a split second before Vic spoke again.

“I’ve had just about enough of this,” Vic said as he signaled the car to pull over. Ben quickly landed a finger on the window button to raise it when he saw Vic looking over his shoulder to pull to the side of the road.

Ben started raising the window but stopped after it moved a slight two inches as he spoke, “What?? It’s cracked! You said I could crack it! You didn’t say how BIG of a crack!”

Vic continued to pull over, completely ignoring Ben’s comment about the cracked window. Two inches shy of being fully opened was hardly a crack in the window. “Vic! What are you doing? I’m going to be late!” Vic totally ignored him and pulled the car off to the side of the road. Knowing where they were possibly headed, Ben decided he had nothing to lose and added, “If you didn’t drive like a grandma, you could have dropped me off five minutes ago and I wouldn’t need a window open!”

Vic glanced at Ben as he put the car in park. “Do you really think that’s a wise comment to make right now?” As the words were out of his mouth, Ben suddenly decided he wasn’t so hot after all and pushed the button to finish raising the window. “It’s too late to close the window now, Ben,” Vic said as he unbuckled his seatbelt. He checked his rearview mirror and seeing the way clear, he opened the door and exited toward Ben’s side of the car.

Ben briefly considered locking the door then thought better of it. Vic pulled his door open and pulled Ben’s seatbelt free. Ben whined, “What did I do?” Vic tugged Ben out of the front seat and continued to haul him to the backseat. “I TOLD you I didn’t need a coat…” Ben continued to complain.

“You know very well what you did,” Vic replied as he pulled Ben in beside him then across his lap from where he sat in the middle of the backseat. “Watch your feet,” he replied as he pulled the back door closed. Ben was hoping he would leave it open just so he could get some air.

Ben bent his legs to get his feet out of the way of the door and heard it slam behind him. He was mortified that this was happening on the side of the road and exclaimed, “But, people might see us!!”

“No one can see us while we’re in the backseat and the windows are tinted back here. They’re running no less than 55 and would have difficulty seeing us even if we had the doors open. You’ve been pushing all morning for this.”

“For what?!” Ben asked even as he lay facedown over Vic’s knees. “This isn’t FAIR!!”

Vic began to explain the fairness of the situation as his hand began to fall against Ben’s jean-clad posterior. “When I tell you to do something, you do it, young man,” Vic lectured as his hand continued to fall in a familiar pattern. “You don’t tell me ‘no’ with your words OR your actions. Do you understand me?”

The heat was building under Ben’s jeans despite the covering that offered some minor level of protection, and his eyes began to water, “Yes, siiirr. STOP!...” he wailed as Vic continued to spank him. “I’m sssssooorrryyy…”

Vic’s strong arm continued to rain down smacks until he heard Ben right at the brink of real tears. He then paused briefly. “Is that enough to get your attention or do I need to pull your jeans down?”

He couldn’t think against the sting in his butt, plus the question was a trick one, in his humble opinion. Part of it begged a positive response and part a negative one so he included both in his answer. “NO! I mean, YES! I mean, I understand…”

“Am I going to hear any more smart comments about heat or cracked windows?”

Ben sniffled slightly and answered, “No, sir.”

Vic landed another spattering of swats then righted Ben so he could sit up. “All right. That’s all,” Vic said soothingly as he cuddled his partner close. While Ben hated that he was just spanked, he was enjoying the comfort offered by his lover.

Vic held him tight and Ben hazarded a question. “Can I take my coat off now? I’m still hot,” he sniffed. “Even hotter than before.”

Vic couldn’t help a chuckle at his brat as he continued to pet and rub Ben’s back. “Do I need to put you back across my lap? I can pull your pants down if you’re still hot. That might cool you off a bit.”

“You’re not funny, Vic. And, NO! I don’t need my pants pulled down.” Ben was thankful Vic had only administered a short roadside spanking and didn’t want another one conducted more thoroughly. He felt Vic’s lips against his head.

“I’d better get you to school and me to work. We were already late.” Vic ushered Ben back to the front seat and Ben couldn’t resist thinking it was all Vic’s fault they were late. It was still HOT in the car and now even more so.

Sympathetic to his partner’s comfort level, Vic adjusted the heat down even further hoping to make it somewhat better in spite of the fact he was chilled. “Thank you for rolling up the window, pumpkin.” Ben sighed aloud, grateful for the reduction in temperature – in the car at least. His bottom still smarted from the short spanking he got in the backseat and no heat adjustment would cool it off just yet.

Vic heard the sigh and reached over to pat Ben’s leg. Ben relaxed somewhat with the gentle touch then asked, “Are you mad at me?”

Vic squeezed his leg and said, “Not at all.” Ben visibly relaxed against the seat and Vic quickly glanced his way. “Are you okay?”

Sure, Ben thought. I’m always okay after I get my butt spanked on the side of the road. “I guess,” he said.

“You’ll be okay. Bad morning, huh?”

Stupid question, Ben thought. He was still hot and just got swatted. But, on the other hand, he hated that he had upset Vic first thing in the morning. “Uh huh. I didn’t MEAN for it to happen…”

“I know you didn’t. You were just pushing. Let’s decide to make the rest of the day better. Want to meet for lunch?”

“Okay.” Despite the sting in his bottom, Ben couldn’t resist another little push. “Picnic outside? I have my jacket…”

Vic looked over at his brat in response to the comment and didn’t rise to the intended bait. “It should be warm enough to eat outside by lunchtime – WITH your jacket. How about I stop by KFC and get some chicken?”

“Okay. And a Dr. Pepper?” Ben asked, knowing if Vic said “yes” he was no longer upset with him. He smiled toward Vic when he heard him laughing at the question.

“All right. ONE Dr. Pepper,” Vic said and took Ben’s hand in his own, holding it gently as he pulled to the front of the college.

Ben was over his sniffles and was thankful once again that all he got was a mild warning spanking. Anything more would have made sitting in class all day a daunting prospect. He looked at Vic and smiled sweetly having won a tiny battle. “Thank you! See you at lunch,” he said then leaned over for a goodbye kiss. He paused, pulling back slightly before leaving the car and before Vic could kiss him.

“What’s the matter?” Vic asked.

“I…I just wanted to say I’m sorry for this morning,” Ben said sheepishly.

Vic leaned over to Ben and kissed him firmly. He said, “It’s over. Thanks for the apology though,” Vic couldn’t resist another brush against the pouting lips. “Have a better day, pumpkin. I love you.”

Ben slipped from the vehicle, happy with the cool air that greeted him outside the car and grateful Vic wasn’t cross with him. Ben returned the sentiment and said before closing the door, “I love you, too.”

The end.
